i am just so tired of being brought crashing down from the stars to someone else's perception of reality and the chains and sickness and weight it brings as they try to clip my wings and break my spirit. told to forget my dreams, obey, dont speak out of turn, become an empty glass, fade to grey, take a pill. I spend much of my time looking up to the skies taking in as much of its beauty as i can absorb to memory, capturing what remains with the lens and when the inspiration strikes, smudged etched sketched to paper, but never in colour. i can never do it justice, it becomes cheap and fake. i guess some things were just never meant to be owned reproduced captured and caged. and it is so much better to stand in the middle of the street, fixated on the simple beauty of light hitting a single leaf. oblivious for a few blissfull moments to the ticking clock, the race against time, always running, sprinting chasing after someone else's dream leaving your own behind.
