About Me

MySpace profiles are so wierd. They're like online dating, but without the dating. WTF?
Anyway, I'm a Jack of all trades, master of none. But I'm pretty darn good at a lot of them. I am an engineer, musician (upright bass, not that sissy guitar thing), and I've been swing dancing for a few years, so I'm starting to consider myself a dancer too. Most importantly, I'm the dad of the worlds bestest dog, Krypton. Check out his page .By day, I'm an electronics engineer making underwater sensors and things for marine scientists. Some day I'd like to get into making intelligent prosthetics.

You might be wondering about my background picture. It's not just a pretty picture of stars. It's one of the Hubble Telescope Deep Field Images. After NASA fixed Hubble's optics, they pointed it to the dakest part of the sky, to see how far they could see, both in distance and time (remember it takes time for light to travel, so the further away, the longer light has been traveling to get here). And they stared at the same place for ten days to get the image of the blackness. But what they found was not black, it was an image filled with tiny shapes. Each of those little specks is not a star, but a galaxy. An entire freekin' galaxy. And each galaxy has hundreds of thousands of stars. And some of those stars have planets, and some of those planets have life, and some of that life has evolved into a civilization.
Hundreds of galaxies in one picture of one pinpoint in the blackest part of the sky. Think about it...

Cool people, in general. I like people who defy stereotypes. I love funny people, fellow geeks, musicians and dancers. I'd also like to meet my real family, not those weirdos I grew up with (JK).

Of course I'm always on the lookout for a cute girl who is NOT crazy, and doesn't have a boyfriend. And it'd be great if she was nice and smart and funny and at least willing to learn to dance, and maybe even a vegetarian. Oh, and she must love dogs.
