Im Taeko, I have grown up in two completely different cultures, Japanese and American. I speak Japanese fluently and can read at a fifth grade level and write at a second grade level. I have been dancing since I was able to walk. All the different types of dancing I can do are Balkan Folk Dancing, Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Hip Hop, and Tap. Right now I teach Ballet and Jumps/Turns for the Junior Program at Millennium Dance Complex. I have also played many different sports throughout my life. I started with gymnastics, baseball, softball, soccer, tennis, swimming, and track and field. I also played the piano for ten years and played the violin at a professional level for 9 years. I started singing and acting in High School and have had several years of training in both areas.
