Anything by Thomas Merton, John McPhee, Bill Bryson, Edward Abbey, Everything by Tom Robbins, classics from high school like To Kill A Mockingbird, A Light in August, Invisible Man, Great Expectations, A Seperate Peace, My Antonia, Crime and Punishment, The Jungle, Barron in the Trees, Lolita, Anna Karenina, The Art of War, childrens books by Shel Silverstein, E.B. White, O Henry, Washington Irving.I'll read anything on the Pulitzer Prize, Man Booker Prize and National Book Award lists, NY Times book review, and other people's book club lists. Contemporary books like Devil in the White City, Kite Runner, Property, My Year of Meats, Man of the House, Life of Pi, The Book Seller of Kabul, Reading Lolita in Tehran, The God of Small Things, Unkown Errors of Our Lives, Jewel, Moneyball, Undertakings, Freakonomics, The Tipping Point, and social commentary like Common Ground, Guns Germs and Steel, Dominion, Party of One and The Betrayal of Work. Also books on religions and culture - Bury Me Standing, The Gypsy's, Alone in Community: Journeys into monastic life around the world, Unchosen : The Hidden Lives of Hasidic Rebels etc.I read about a book a week so if you want to know what's in my library - ask.
