[everything's gonna be alright]

whats up y'all, it's ya girl [erin]. i am 19 years grown. i am currently a college student and also a working girl. you know i gotta do my own, independent thing. [or atleast try to] i've come to realize that in life people do crazy and random things, some they wish that they had never done and of course some they wish could be replayed a million times in their heads. whether we like it or not it is these times in our lives that make us who we are, and in the end these experiences shape every detail about us. no one is perfect, and i have come to realize how flaw-less i am not. i'm just trying to live my life one day at a time. i don't have time for the drama. it's stupid and ignorant. i'm just here to do [me] and my own thing. i'm not up here to impress anyone. if you do not like me, then that's on you. [all the haters can jump up off my swag] i am thankful that god has blessed me with a wonderful family and a few great friend[s]. also for everything that i have been able to accomplish so far in my life and everyone that i have met. recently i have come to know who is really important, and who will always be a big part of my life.
you have to learn to love yourself before you can love someone else
just remember that life changes on a daily basis. every minute and every hour, yet still we got to face it.
looking back on what i said all those years ago, all the hopes and dreams i had, i've come to the conclusion that if having things turn out the way you wanted them to is a measure of a successful life, then some would say i'm a failure. the important thing is not to be bitter over life's disappointments. learn to let go of the past, and recognize that every day won't be sunny. and when you find yourself lost in the darkness of despair remember, it's only in the black of night that you see the stars, and those stars lead you back home.
do not look back and grieve over the past, for it is gone; and do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come. live in the present, and make it so beautiful that it will be worth remembering.
