About Me

Hi! Thanks for stopping by and taking a look. I'm the RETIRED children and youth ministries director of a church near you... I am untamed and unchained and will remain so forever. I am spontaneous, hilarious, brutally honest, dangerous, quietly caring, secretively considerate and thoughtful, and completely and utterly unpredictable.I live simply. I'm not into $$$, nor the love of it. I'm not into all the noise and nonsense society believes I should partake in. I believe that a t-shirt and jeans in any situation is appropriate. I believe you only pass this way once, so why let the world weigh you down with its expecations? I believe in the unexpected!I'd like to think a good desctription of me would be a quote from C.S. Lewis' The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe: "He's not a tame lion... but he's good."I'm divorced, no kids, 6' tall, 195 lbs. of kinda cute. Hope you enjoy the page, the music, the thoughts, etc. Click here for your own Myspace Layout

My Interests

Being God's man while I still can , Movies, good books, dining out, adventures whenever and wherever I can get into them... oh yeah, and

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet a woman of great Christian integrity and faith, the courage of her convictions, intelligent, humorous, and nice looking if all that is available in one package? (If you have allowed bitterness and anger to swallow your heart, please move on!) I am definitely interested in cutting edge ministries, and I'm always open to meeting new people- here and in real life.

Music:

..

Books:

An Irish Proverb: "He who knows and knows he knows, he is wise, follow him...He who knows and knows not he knows, he is aspleep, wake him...He who knows not and knows he knows not, he is simple teach him...He who knows not and knows not he knows not, he is from Green Bay, shun him."Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaky feeling you'll find that love actually is all around.

Something to talk about

One thing I tell Christians as I encounter them is that they need to shake off the "noise" and nonsense that's covering them.  We have become "worldly Christians" in this society concerned with t...
