About Me

Born January 21st, 1984 in Sewickly, PA and raised in Oklahoma, Aidan Carroll now lives in New York City. His well-rounded musical interests began at a young age and were nurtured by his parents who themselves are musicians. During his undergraduate musical career, Aidan performed with ensembles that have included Concert Band, Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, and Jazz Band. Aidan’s love of the bass earned him a full jazz scholarship at his alma mater, UCO, Edmond, Oklahoma, and lead to his acceptance at the prestigious 2006 Banff International Music and Jazz Workshop. He is a graduate of the Masters program at the City College of New York where he studied with the great John Patitucci. Aidan has recorded with such artists as Fred Hersch, Ralph Alessi, Seamus Blake, Lenny Pickett, and Richie Barshay, and has worked with artists such as Bill Goodwin, John Abercrombie, Ben Monder, Adam Cruz, Dominique Eade, Dan Tepfer, Marta Topferova, and others.
