About Me

Hello there and welcome to my little spot out here in the big world of the internet. I hope you're cozy here. Hope you're being entertained. Is your chair comfy enough? Good. Now sit back and listen to my version of my life. I was pushed forth into the world on April 22, 1982 at around 2:30am. Ten minutes later I had done my first push up and three months later I had spoken my first word. Ever since then nobody has been successful at getting me to shut up. As a young child I developed a love for writing and all creative processes, which is a love I bear to this day. That is also why this introduction is so long. Sorry. Anyway, I also developed a love for the water. I began swimming competitively at the age of ten and didn't stop until after high school at age eighteen. I also began playing water polo in high school. Most people would say that I was good at my sports. After high school I went through a small bit of college. After that I went into the Navy, where I was a police officer. I met a lot of wonderful people during that time, including my current boyfriend. My current hobbies are writing, painting, and working out. The people who know me best would say that I am mostly a good-natured person...mostly. I have an evil streak a mile wide at times. My favorite cartoon is South Park, although I don't have the time to watch it that much anymore. I've been sad about that but what can a girl do? My goals for the future are to make it through college, get a better job, and then be the first person in my family to get a doctoral degree. After that I may try traveling to third world countries to help build schools and playgrounds for underprivileged children who are the victims of their war-torn societies. Of recent I have been called an over-acheiver by my peers. I always say that it's better to acheive great things than to accomplish nothing. And nine times out of ten I'm completely full of shit. Have fun on my little space. Check this page out if you're looking for laughs: www.myspaceisgay.com

My Interests

I love creative activities. Writing has always been a favorite of mine. Painting is great too. One of my other favorite things to do it make a trip out to the beach to look for agates and sea shells. I never get tired of walking up and down the coast looking for little treasures. A lot of people my age think that's lame, but I don't give a fuck about what other people think. I also love riding on the back of my boyfriend's motorcycle because I don't know how to ride one myself yet. Tim (my man) said he'd teach me how to ride. I can't wait. Another thing I love to do is listen to people talk and get to interview them about their lives. People are very interesting to me.

I'd like to meet:

There are many people that I would like to meet. I wouldn't mind meeting all of my dead ancestors to see where I really came from and know the events that took place to shape the lives and personalities of my family members. I would also like to meet Barbara Walters because she is always interviewing everybody important, so it would be kind of cool to interview her for a few hours. She probably has some interesting stories to tell. I also want to meet my boyfriend's late mother so that I can learn all of the things about him that he either doesn't remember or won't tell me. Another good person to talk to would be J.R. Tolkein. I would be very interested in hearing about how he was inspired to write The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. I bet I would be able to pick his brain for many consecutive years without getting tired of it. I wonder if he would be as interesting as his books. Another writer I would be curious to meet is Kurt Vonnegut. I read a book of his called Cat's Cradle in my senior year of high school for an english class and I absolutely cannot forget it because it was so bizarre. But the most bizarre thing about the book was that it was so addicting to read and so unique. I bought another book of his called Timequake, which seems to have the same sort of style to it. I read a bit of it then had no time for a while. After picking it back up I was totally lost and realized that it was one of those books that you just have to read night after night in order not to get confused. It really keeps you thinking. I wonder what kind of person Mr. Vonnegut would be in his real life.

Music:

I am a musical omnivore. I pretty much like everything except rap, and even some of that can make it to my download list.

Movies:

The unrated version of The Sweetest Thing will always be the ultimate girl movie! Aside from that, I am also a theatrical omnivore. My basic requirement is that it must have a plot or a point.

Television:

I'm obsessed with a TV show called Grey's Anatomy. For those who don't know what that is, it's a show dedicated to the interpersonal relationships of doctors (specifically residents) in a hospital in Seattle, Washington. I'm addicted to it. It gives me just enough drama and gossip so I don't have to create these things at work.

Books:

I love The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings trilogy. I know, I'm a nerd.

Heroes:

Tim is my hero because he is all the things that I am not.
