I'm Socrates the Cogitating Mule. Some think of me as a matchmaker but really I'm not--there was only one instance and that was out of pure self-preservation, nothing less. It was such an interesting story that I was (of course) asked to star in Down Home Ever Lovin' Mule Blues by Jacquie Rogers .
My human and I work the rodeo circuit. He's a bullfighter but also a clown. I'm the star of the clown act, a real crowd pleaser. But then, that's not surprising given my mulish good looks, my pleasing personality, and my superior intelligence.
