Mitzi, a self-taught artist, was born into a family of farmers in the
Northeastern part of Tennessee. Her exposure to the arts started at an early
age through the Southern Folk Art of the Appalachian Mountains. She has
taken many art an art history classes through which she has learned and
developed a major understanding of art.
Now pursuing her life long dream, she lives and works out of her studio in
Nashville, TN. She focuses on commissioned human portraits and animal
drawings with pen and charcoal. She uses a mix medium in her drawings to
give each picture a unique look that captures the true spirit of whom or what she is drawing.Myspace Graphics
