I am training in Chicago, IL. at Great Lakes Naval Base. I just moved here from Naval Air Station Pensacola Florida where I was doing Aircrew/SAR training. Now I am here doing electrical engineering. Something I plan to use in the future as a developer/builder. It is nice to be closer to home and to freinds and family.
I am originally from the St. Louis area and plan on moving back to be close to my family and friends someday. I will be in Chicago until somewhere around February and after that I will be moving on to the fleet in san diego, corpus christi or everett and hopefully get to take a tour in Europe. I have no life on the weekdays, I go to school for about 11 hours and after that try to hit a session at the gym. By the time I get home, I try to study until I eventually pass out. On the weekends I like to party pretty hard as well as watch and play sports. I am stoked for Notre Dame Football season to start they are going to kick a lot of ass this year. Anyways, I went to Illinois State so I have a lot of friends in the Chicago area and I try to spend as much time with them and away from base as possible.
