Isaac Asimov - this guy wrote thousands of books in his life. Everything from Science fiction to history to mathematics to biology. He somehow still managed to be a good father and husband, as well as a professor. I am absolutely in awe of this mans life.
Hugh Hefner - and no, not JUST 'cause of the girls. This mans dedication to his magazine changed the world forever. He spent days, sometimes weeks locked in his suite doing layouts and editing in the early days. And due to all of this, he changed the entire world's attitude towards sex in less than 10 years. He CELEBRATES EVERYTHING that is female, not just the female body. And the journalism in his magazine is probably some of the most objective, cutting edge writing that you will read anywhere. Not to mention the boys taste in furniture in the 60s was so bad ass!
Frank Zappa - a true musical visionary. If you want to know why I idolize him, read "The Real Frank Zappa Story." What he accomplised musically in his life is nothing short of amazing.
