The Shield, Angel when it was on, Firefly when it was on, South Park, Battlestar Gallatica, Red Dwarf, The Black Adder, and just about everything that has been or is on currently on Adult Swim.
Anything written by Michael Crichton, most of his books have been made into movies... But like many books made into movies the books are better.
