About Me

With a dome packed with knowledge and a heart burning with desire Chris takes on the world one day at a time. Driving like his hair is on fire he makes his daily commute to work. Each day he attempts to convince himself that the time spent there is worth his while. After eight hours of failed convincing he bolts to his vehicle to turn the key and find the ever familiar Check Engine light flickering on.
However, this doesn't hinder our inspiring "Mario Andretti" from making the trek back to his beloved abode on James Island. Before the next sunrise he tosses in that precious cargo needed for his next arctic adventure, with veins craving adrenaline and a spirit about to burst he navigates on to his destination of choice. With determination that overwhelms, exhaustion is forgotten as this man presses on and arrives at a snow covered wonderland. After several hours of defying the odds and gravity our beloved hero, Chris, makes that two foot jump onto that snowboard rail.
With a sense of accomplishment he savors a well deserved slumber on the treacherous return journey, while his less fortunate, bloody handed, first aid seeking companion chauffeurs him back on that all too familiar tarmac we know as I-26. After the burning of many gallons of Arabian juice and three back-to-back full revolutions of the Paramore CD a scattered glimmer of lights appear on the horizon. A record is broken, the impossible has become possible, two men have etched there names into the "Road Warrior" hall of fame. To NC and back with four hours of snowboarding, in one day. A boast few can make, a claim that can only be uttered by the infamous.
