MySpace Layouts

This group has been in the Richmond area for a number of years, but not in the current form. This is a combination of three different groups that put their talents together and created NYCE. Star Material and the Jarmels started in this area. At some point we were all introduced to one another and formed a friendship with mutual respect for our talents. Each group has had success respectfully in the industry. Star Material was with East Coast Entertainment and the Men Of Soul performed for years in the New York area. The most recognized of these groups were the Jarmels. At this point, Star Material and a member of the Men Of Soul became part of the Jarmels who had some recording success with the hit record, A LITTLE BIT OF SOAP. Combined, these groups have had the opportunity to be on stage with some of the greats like, Gladys Knight, Dionne Warwick, The Drifters, and many others. Our shows are filled with first class vocals and high quality stage presence. Our pre-recorded track music is excellent and showmanship is great! NYCE offers you a wide variety of songs from Motown greats like The Temptations, The Four Tops, to beach music like Shout, and Hey Baby!
