Founded in 1997 in Brooklyn, NY, Thirsty Music represents artists involved in Music, Photography, Film + Design. We are a group of four independent artists, E-Dot, Darp Malone, Yasmien & Kenyatta, who represent ourselves as well as such notables as Marvel, Donnanlinkz, HERO, The Chapter, Tia Thomas, DJ Taktiks + Moses.The basis for creating Thirsty Media was to create a sense of community amongst artists that share the same cause - getting our message out there. We bridge the gap between creative individuals. We create the network they so often require. It is a For Us, By Us philosophy, except within the artist community. We put the pieces together to make the magic happen. Our roster is so varied, with people coming from all sorts of places, backgrounds and lifestyles, that each collaboration renders a unique experience to say the least.Thirsty Music functions as the record label and Thirsty Media the promotional outlet, applicable to both musicians on the Thirsty Music roster as well as other artists involved in artistic arenas.
