Nothing makes you wonder if you know it all. Everyone has a story. I find many of them mundane and common. It's what you choose to highlight and expound upon that makes the story interesting to the listener and reader. One may say that many of the names I listed are kinda cheesey or mainstream, but you don't know what I would ask them if I met them now do you? I didn't say I worship them or think they're the 'Be-All, End-All' or that I wanted an autograph or would go all Ga-Ga over them. Some of them I just want to hang with and shoot the shit about sports or politics over a couple beers. Some I'd want to spend a weekend with talking about their beliefs and experiences. Some I'd want to know how they deal with their degree of stardom and how it ebbs & flows in their careers and lives. A couple I would probably ask painful questions of, if given the chance, to better understand them and myself in a life lesson session sorta way. I'd want to ask what inspires them, what did they draw on for strength or ideas for a song or joke or movie character. There are so many people that inspire & entertain me. But most of all, a really neat chic who's cute & spunky and confident & funny...like Aubry Fisher or a girl with that cali look like Jodie Sweetin or Emily Proctor. But right now...I think I have a new fave friend here. I think she knows who she is and I don't want to embarrass her but she RAWKS! Horns up sweetie! We MUST party, hang & talk soon. Of course, I want to meet someone who loves me for all my flaws and embraces my goodness and would defend me to the death, as I would her.But I also wish I could "un-meet" some people too. Ya know, the ones that never got their lives on track, who fell hardcore into drug addiction, still think they're fooling everyone but you know they are hardcore on the Tweak. The see you and are "hey Dog, what up? got any shit?" and all I can think is dude WTF happened to yer teeth, and your hair and what is that smell? And why are you riding a kids BMX bike and yer fingers look like you've been burrowing in black dirt! Don't tell me "it's a disease"...I was there too. It's a choice and a weakness of character & self respect-NOT a disease. Diabetes is a disease, Leukemia is a disease-you don't just wake up 1 day and go "oh my god, I can't live without smoking a crackrock"...it may be a slow slip, but it started with an original choice and then a sacrificing of personal standards & morals & pride as it progressed, but it was always a choice 1st.
