About Me

MUSIC STORE FROM THE PAST...
~This page came to be because alot of customers miss
Music Den. You don't know how many people I have come across
that have mentioned this place. It Was Defenitely A Landmark
In My Eyes & It Deserves To Be Honored On It's Very Own MySpace Page!~
This site is dedicated to one of the best Music Stores on Long Island that had sadly closed down :( If you could picture the Music store "Trax" from "Pretty In Pink" It looked something similiar to that. Originally the store started out a few stores down from where it is now. It had huge glass windows that stuck out & were decorated with posters & all kinds of things. Later on it moved into the bigger place that you see here. I remember going to this place religiously since the 1980's where I was greeted with guys with green hair, combat boots and mohawks. This place had everything, New Wave, Goth, Punk, Synthpop, Industrial, EBM, Rock, Pop, Regular stuff, even Local Bands cd's. They had every kind of music known to man. Hard to find Cd's, Tapes, Vinyl, Shirts, Posters, Sheet Music, Videos, Pins, A wall of stickers & An awesome used cd wall. (I believe it was One cd for $7. Two for $14 & 3 for $21?) If it was hard to find they had it or would gladly order it for you. It's where I've spent alot of my years & money! I'm proud to say most of my massive c.d. & record collection came from this incredible store :0)
If any of you have pictures of Music Den back in the day. Let me know & I'll add them to this page...
A big Thanks from John for old picture's of Music Den!
