Where words fail; music speaks. If our music speaks anything it is this: To Worship You I Live, I Live to Worship You! WARship is a female-fronted Rock and Praise and Worship band. We select exciting tunes to cover and share. So, if you come to a WARship event you will recognize a song or two from the radio. Music does move the soul and the songs we select have moved us in a special way. Particularly, there is a prophetic sound moving across the land that is calling us to a deeper place of intimacy in worship. The spirit of God is roaming the earth seeking out those who will worship Him in spirit and in truth. We want to be counted as true worshippers, who play passionately for the Lord. There is a WARship sailing through the land. So, lift up those warrior worship hands!! WARship was formed and birthed out of Club Ark in the summer of 2008, and toured around Ohio, playing dates at shows and festivals. WARship hails from Columbus, Ohio. The band covers songs by Barlow Girl, Disciple, Flyleaf, Fireflight, Switchfoot, Misty Edwards, Charity Von, Israel Houghton, Kari Jobe, Joan Jett, Aerosmith, Jason Upton and other popular rock groups and praise and worship leaders. The leader of the band is the greatest minister that ever walked the face of the earth, Jesus Christ. Angie is our other band leader. She is an accomplished musician with eight years of worship team experience and rock band experience under her belt. She is also a music teacher for guitar and bass; she plays the drums and piano as well. For the band she is our lead singer and lead guitar player. Angie has a unique and beautiful voice and has such a heart for God. God has literally used her to raise up this band. We are blessed to have two bass players who trade off on various songs and that is Lana and Jen Doo. Lana is our responsible band member and hard worker. Jen Doo is the cool chick in the band and she is also our "fashion police" stylist. On keys is Melody. She is a young and talented woman; she is married and still a newlywed, and she is the newest addition to the band. Melody sings as well. On guitar is Tore. She is the loud one of the group. She is also our rapper and all around rowdy girl. Tore plays the drums and sings occasionally too. Finally our dude, Brad, is on drums. He is an amazing world percussionist as well. Brad is 18 and he also plays the piano and sings. WARship’s sound is driven by guitars and drums ... BUT we are not a typical rock band. WARship is well rounded and offers diverse music from rock to rap to rap core to praise and worship. The band members have a passion for God and for God's people, and are very excited about traveling and sharing their excitement for God. The band and ministry is most known for a song that was written from a sermon called, "Bam on the Devil". WARship will be writing more original music and feels a call from God to birth a sound from heaven that is both powerful and prophetic for this generation. Our scripture is Psalm 144:1. WARship desires to serve God through music and take people aboard this WARship and travel so close to God together, that we hear his heartbeats melody and we leave feeling INFIRED and INSPIRED by the experience. When we grow up we want to be servants. We are not seeking to be signed. We are not seeking fame nor fortune. We seek to serve. It is our joy and it is our reasonable service. Jesus, find us in your Father's house and doing HIS work. Thank you for letting us have so much fun in the process.
