API Youth United!

About Me

API Youth United! is for Asian and Pacific Islander youth to network with one another, make friends, talk about things that are important to you in your family and lives, talk revolution, and make it.

This site was created by the Seattle Asian and Pacific Islander Women and Family Safety Center Youth and Youth Adult Programs. We work with youth at Roosevelt High School and Tyee Educational Complex (Global Connection, A.C.E, and Odyssey). Our goals are youth empowerment, self-empowerment, anti-oppression and anti-violence. We have weekly groups at the high schools, where we talk, organize and realize our potential as makers and critics of our society and our cultures.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

We want to meet API and API mixed-raced (hapa) young men and women who want to laugh, cry, have fun, learn more about our cultures, work on political and cultural projects that WE care about, make friends, and create a safe, non-violent, feminist, anti-racist, queer-friendly, and empowering space among us!

These groups are open to non-API youth, but we will focus on API issues.

We are Asian and Pacific Islanders:
