About Me

Tennessee boy who grew up in the country, and still has a huge appreciation for nature; but had to travel the world and experience different people, places, and cultures. After seeing the world (and loving it, and partying with it) for about 13 years, found myself back in the DEEP South, ugh! I'll get thru it and enjoy wherever I find myself at the moment!I work in the food & beverage / hospitality / catering industry and love it. At home, I hang with my friends and enjoy cooking and entertaining with lots of good food, drink, music, games, and movies.Still long to travel the world and stack up some more incredible experiences, and make lots of new friends out there. I'd sum myself up as a very lucky guy with great, rewarding relationships: my large incredibly supportive family and all of my wonderful friendships. I'm laid back most of the time. I think my themesong is "Easy Like Sunday Morning". I'm serious at work because of focus. And at home, I'm lazy and content. Living the dream....

My Interests

Music, movies, outdoors: camping, hiking, canoeing, rafting. Cooking, gourmet food and wines, drawing, painting, creating. Volleyball, swimming, the beach in general. Reading National Geographic. Stargazing. Drinking and hanging with my friends.

I'd like to meet:

Open-minded, mature, happy people. People that appreciate the Arts. People that enjoy music, and laughter. In general, just cool people that enjoy good music, good food, good drink, and good times hanging together. I honestly enjoy meeting every kind of people. Because we are all what makes up everything...existence. We should enjoy our Time. Here. Together. Now. Peace, KT

Music:

Completely eclectic! Right now, mostly dance. Find myself on XM #81 BPM more often than not. If I were to create a list of music I love, it would continue for pages upon pages...Have a huge appreciation for everything from Mozart to Prince to Zeppelin to Pink to the Dixie Chicks and most everything in between. Couldn't live without music.

Movies:

Big movie fan. Get bored with most romantic comedies because they are all the same. Dramas intrique me. I enjoy a movie that makes me think. Also love escaping into action/adventure/fantasy/scifi with great special FX. Favorites: Across the Universe, Star Wars, Garden State, Life is Beautiful, Moulin Rouge, The Color Purple, Fight Club, Kill Bill, Shortbus, Sordid Lives. Now that I think of it, I've really grown into quite a fan of musicals too.

Television:

The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. Entourage. CSI. Family Guy. Robot Chicken. Curb Your Enthusiasm. Heroes. Lost. Nip/Tuck. Loved Six Feet Under and Alias...Miss them both. Music Videos. Food Network. PBS (Music, The News Hour, Nova, Frontline, etc.). National Geographic Channel. Not much reality, but I LOVE The Soup; hysterical. Top Chef can be fun.

Books:

Books on physics, astrophysics, astronomy, and places throughout the world that I would love to see and experience, but fear I may never have the opportunity. Otherwise, a little light fiction here & there, some short stories. Love poetry: favaorite poet: Octavio Paz.
