Modeling/Acting Experience
  • September, 2008, With Images and Stories: Began by modeling for a bridal show, progressed to work as an official model and secretary for the business.

  • Summer, 2007, With MJKT Productions: Took part of the movie "Full Circle" as one of the agents.

  • Spring, 2007, MICA Fashion Show, Directed by Kenyatta Hinkle: Took part in walking and dancing on the runway of "Moda Mondiale," an exciting fashion show at MICA. (Dressed as a flight attendant.)

  • Spring, 2007, MICA Playwrights, Directed by Ally Hunter-Harris: Acted on stage as "Cecelia," in a MICA Playwrights production. The character starts off as a normal college intern and then spirals downward into the world of drugs. She becomes a smoker, an alcoholic and a heroine adict. In the end, the audience finds out she is extremely schizophrenic.

  • Fall, 2006, EMAC Video, Collaboration with Robin Brunelle and John Jeanette: "Ghost"/"Spirit" and voice in the final Film project for EMAC. Scroll down to watch it. The story line - A girl's spirit walks out of its body and takes over a guy's body. Eventually, the guy's spirit is forced out of its body...

  • Fall, 2005, Timothy O'Shea Theater, Directed by Amanda Newcomb: Acted as "Hermia" from "A Midsummer Night's Dream" in the Timothy O'Shea Theater. This character was a strong willed woman who was at times needy and at other times... well, let's just say "difficult." During auditions, I also qualified for "Helena" and Oberon's "Fairy Queen."

  • Fall, 2005, Timothy O'Shea Theater, Directed by Ms. Meine: Acted as "Caroline" from "A Christmas Carol." Caroline is an older woman in deep debt to Scrooge. Her character was a source for the audience laughter. She constantly fretted over her debts. In this play, I also acted as an extra for the ballroom scene, took part in the backstage crew, set design, props.

  • Spring, 2001, MVMS Play, Directed by Ms. Sane: Played the part of "Wanda" in "Zombie Cheerleaders." Wanda was a peculiar beatnik who had a keen interest in voodoo. During this time, I was also asked to take part in a TV commercial for mattresses.
  • Fall, 2000, MVMS Play, Directed by Ms. Sane: "Robin Hood" - I was a make-up artist, part of the backstage crew, and an understudy for "Little John."
  • Work/Volunteer Experience
  • Counselor for Green Acres Camp: I've done this since 2002. 2002- Counselor for 4yr olds, 2003 and 2004- Art counselor for ages 8-13, 2005, 2006 and 2007- Digital Art/Digital Photography counselor for ages 8-13.
  • Waitress: This is the most peculiar job I've ever applied for. This just happened during the summer of 2007.
  • Media Resource Center Person: I signed out slides, dvds and videos to my fellow students. (Second semester, 2007).
  • Teacher's Aide: This was in Mt. Royal Elementary. (First semester only, 2006).
  • Volunteer for Asbury (Nursing Homes): From 1998 to 2002, I worked on cheering people up by taking them outside to chat and see the scene, by playing bingo for hours and by talking to them about their past experiences (this got interesting on various occasions).
  • Religious Education Teacher: I did this voluntarily. No pay. From 1997 to 2002, I worked with Vacation Bible School and CCD people.
  • Education:
  • Schools: Graduated High School with Diploma and Certificate of Merit. Currently a student in MICA.
  • Awards: Delegate King Scholarship, MICA Recognition Award of $10,000, Academic Honors Scholarship (MICA) of $10,000, June 14, 2006: Awarded the Certificate of Meritorious Service by the state of MD and MCPS for Student Service Learning, Technology scholarship of $500 from Watkins Mill High School, The only 2006 plaque for art recognition in Watkins Mill High School, 2005: Selected for induction into the 2005/2006 National Honor Roll, The President’s Student Service Award, Honor Roll since 6th Grade, Received several art contest awards, Recognition in a poetry contest
  • Extra Curricular Activities: Homecoming Decorations Committee (3 years), Asian Student Society/Asian Student Association/American - Pacific Islanders Club, Art Club (2 years), National Arts Honors Society, Black Rock oil painting lessons
  • Skills/Interests:

  • Arts Related: Painting, Illustration, Drawing, Animation (both 2D and 3D - this is my current major), Ceramics (hand-building only... I hate the potter's wheel), Digital Photography (mainly photo manipulating), Theater/Acting (I do this for fun when I have time), Fashion (I was pulled into the Moda Mondiale fashion show- If you have the dvd, you can watch me dance and walk on the stage).
  • Sports Related: Soccer, Volley Ball, Tackle Football, Ice Hockey (I just like watching it), Basketball (I'm better at watching than doing).
  • Random Stuff: Reading (I love my books), Collecting (there are things out there that I think deserve to be collected), Socializing (the more the merrier!),
  • ...and long walks on the beach. (Actually, I'm serious. I love it when it's windy, but not too hot or too cold... Running towards the waves and back, especially at night, is a fascinating thing to do.)
