..David Michael Mueller, age 21, of Republic, Mo., passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2006, at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, Mo. He was born March 1, 1985, in Springfield, Mo., the son of Michael Mueller and Tammy Olson. David had attended Republic and Springfield schools, graduating from Republic High School in 2003. David was loved by his family and many friends. He will be sadly missed, but never forgotten. The family would like to express their appreciation to all for their support and prayers, as well as the staff at Cox Medical Center South. He is survived by his father, Michael Mueller of Springfield, Mo.; his mother, Tammy Olson of Republic, Mo.; one sister, Jessica Mueller of Republic, Mo.; one nephew, Cadyn Smith of Republic, Mo; stepfather, Scott Olson of Republic, Mo.; stepmother, Teri Mueller of Springfield, Mo.; two stepsisters, Jamie and Jackie Sabel, both of Springfield, Mo.; two step brothers, Ryan and Steven Sabel, both of Nashotah, Wisc.; paternal grandparents, Ralph Mueller of New Bloomfield, Mo., Kay Mueller of Dubuque, Iowa; maternal grandparent, Neila Herald of Edna, Kan.; and step grandparents, Barbara Mueller of New Bloomfield, Mo., Henry Herald of Edna, Kan., and Roger and Connie Olson of Cleveland, Minn. Arrangements are being handled by Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, 2001 W. Walnut Lawn St., Springfield, Mo., where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, October 29, 2006. The funeral service will be at Walnut Lawn Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. Monday, October 30, 2006. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Republic, Mo. Bert Miller, 76, Republic, went home to meet his Heavenly Father on Saturday, January 6, 2007, at his home with his family at his side. He was born July 19, 1930, in Springfield, Mo., to Elvis Ray and Florence P. (Johnson) Miller. Rev. Miller was a minister of the gospel for many years, serving as pastor at Pleasant Valley Baptist, Round Grove Baptist, Brookline Baptist, New Home Baptist, and Fender Chapel churches. He was currently attending the Republic First Baptist Church. He was a retired police officer, serving a total of 40 years between the Springfield Police Dept., Greene County Sheriff's Dept, and the Republic Police Dept. He was a member of the Republic Masonic Lodge #570. He was united in marriage to Ann Ikerd September 4, 1948. They have made their home in Republic the past 39 years. They enjoyed traveling, eating out, and visiting with friends. He was a devoted family man, with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren being the top priority in his life. His parents, two brothers, a sister, and a grandson, preceded him in death. He is survived by his loving wife Ann; his children, Mike Miller and wife, Nancy, and Mark Miller, all of Springfield; a daughter, Judy Perusse, Republic; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 9, 2007, at the Republic First Baptist Church, with Rev. Steve Ward officiating, under direction of Meadors Funeral Home, Republic. Masonic Rites by RWB Randy Jones, will be performed during the service. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Republic. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today, Jan. 8, in the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Bert and Ann Miller memorial fund, payable to Ann Miller. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Community Hospice for their care and compassion during Rev.
