About Me

I'm a very complicated person to figure out. If you rock climb you have a good chance of figuring me out. If you don't climb rocks you might figure me out. If you haven't figured out what I'm talking about yet, forget about it you'll never figure me out...lol. I'm just your average all around nice guy who enjoys the company of good friends while having a drink or spending some time out rock climbing (my favorite thing to do). My interests vary widely from climbing to going to museums to enjoying a good meal and drinks all with friends. I love to travel and experience new places and see new things. My passion second only to climbing is photography and I shoot mostly landscape/nature photographs and have just recently started getting into climbing photography. Besides all that I am WFR (Wilderness First Responder) certified and am possibly going to get my WEMT (Wilderness Emergency Medical Technician) certification in the near future.

My Interests

Anything outdoors. My main interests right now are rock climbing and mountain biking. But I also love to go backpacking, camping, scuba diving, snowboarding, whitewater rafting/kayaking, and pretty much anything else you can do outdoors. Since I also live in the city I enjoy museums, concerts, going to bars, and just spending time with friends hanging out.

I'd like to meet:

Cool people, specially climbers.

Music:

Pretty much anything alternative, punk, rock, classic rock, blues, jazz. Current favorite band is Dispatch.

Movies:

Current favorite is the climbing movie First Ascent, see the trailer to the right.

Television:

My TV is for decoration only.

Books:

Always reading one of like 15 or so rock climbing guide books that I own or some climbing magazine.

Heroes:

Climbers like Peter Croft, Tommy Caldwell and this guy John Backar on the cover of Climbing magazine, June 1984, free soloing Outer Limits (5.10c) in Yosemite

Car update

So I finally got my car back Friday afternoon. The total cost for the repairs came to a little over $4000. My whole front end was pretty much replaced along with a few various engine parts...
