About Me

Now playing ---- "TRUTH"-DEF LEPPARD I am basically a 1970's junkie who is very proud to have grown up in what is, in my opinion, the greatest pop culture decade in history. The decade from 1975-1985 contributed it's fair share among the best television, films, and even music in all of entertainment history. It was the 70's that essentially created the concept of the big blockbuster sequel; a trend started with Jaws 2. It was the 70's that initiated the slasher film genre with Halloween (due to MANY Michael Myers wannabes that followed.) I mean just think of the tremendous number of now-classic films that were released during that decade alone; Jaws, Star Wars, Grease, Alien, The Shining, Halloween, Superman The Movie, E.T., Raiders Of The Lost Ark, Close Encounters Of The Third Kind, Saturday Night Fever, Back To The Future, Rocky, Poltergeist, Carrie, Animal House, The Amityville Horror...the list goes on and on; I'm sure you all are yelling out even more films that I missed!! Television from this decade is no less classic(at least not for Sci Fi fans!!)especially when you consider there were ONLY THREE TV CHANNELS to choose from: The Six Million Dollar Man, The Incredible Hulk, Wonder Woman, The Bionic Woman, Dallas, Dukes Of Hazzard, Happy Days, M*A*S*H, All In The Family, Charlie's Angels, again...another endless list (there's already been two theatrical movies made based on these shows!) Even more amazing is the overwhelming amount of famous phrases from this era of entertainment that have embedded themselves into our pop culture even today. "We're gonna' need a bigger boat"; "Just when you though it was safe..."; "Better, stronger, faster"; "Don't make me angry-you wouldn't like me when I'm angry!"; "Sit on it!"; "Yo Adrian!"; "Stifle yourself Edith"; "Dyn-o-mite!" and others. Be sure to check out my regular website, LOU'S LAIR, for all kinds of goodies through the link below!! LURK TO THE LAIR for more cool stuff!! Be sure to check out some clips from our movie,

In time I'm sure I will add to this list as well (see all the pics below in full size at the Lou's Lair website!).Of those I haven't met that I'd love to meet: Lee Majors, Lindsay Wagner, Richard Anderson, Martin E. Brooks, Lynda Carter, Jamie Lee Curtis, Richard Dreyfuss, and Phil Collen(the last member of Def Leppard I haven't met). Also, sadly, on this list are some deceased legends I hold dear: Bill Bixby, Christopher Reeve, Steve Clark, Donald Pleasence, and Robert Shaw.
