ABOUT VANESSA THOMPSON
Vanessa Thompson was born in Washington State on July 30th 1985 with a song in her heart. Even her first sounds, at birth, were music to her parent’s ears. She
has always been drawn to music. As a very young girl she would sing and write music/songs. After she started school, she participated in many choirs, which often included solos. Vanessa was also a cheerleader at her high school her junior and senior years. In high school, she also became well known for singing the national anthem at different school and non school related events, to include her high school graduation ceremony. She has also sang the American and Canadian national anth
ems for various sporting events, to include, the local hockey team, the Everett Silver Tips, on more than one occasion with over eight thousand fans in attendance. She
has also participated in and won numerous singing contests in the local area.After high school Vanessa began to pursue her musical career while writing/composing songs and music. Vanessa puts passion, heart and soul into every note she composes and sings. She has taught herself to play the piano, by ear, and has been working on several songs for the last few years. She has now decided that this
is the right time to share her music. There is no greater gift than the gift of giving. Vanessa's gift of music is now her gift to you.Vanessa has also had formal training for acting and is a graduate of Northwest Studio.Butterfly Music Productions released her first album entitled “Baby This Love†in 2006 that is currently for sale on her web site. This is a short album with four songs. April 24, 2008 Butterfly Music Productions
released a full length album self titled "Vanessa". It is a full length album with songs written and composed by Vanessa Thompson with the exception of a few songs written for Vanessa by Jim Thompson and produced by Scott Anderson of 57th Street Productions. This album, as well as other products, is now available in her website store.Butterfly Music Productions is already working on her next project which my envolve some big names and talent in the music industry that believe as we do that Vanessa may be the next big artist out there.
