I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Hi!To people who see me on the street, I'm that tall red head girl who's smiling and looks like she might be singing to herself. To the people who know me a little bit, I'm the tall red head girl who's always cheerful and sweet who loves school and stays really busy at the inner city ministry. To the people who REALLY know me, I'm emotionally unstable, sometimes needy, sometimes independent, afraid of nothing- except the people I most love, an outward optimist but sometimes a pessimist, a crier, way too sappy, easily shocked, but sometimes shocking, personally messy but publicly neat, a priss and a tomboy, full of myself and way too self-conscious, willing to try almost anything, eternally hopeful, even in the face of total disaster...you get the picture. To myself, I'm just me- I don't even try to predict my own actions anymore. To God, I'm forgiven and beloved.

My Interests

Life. More specifically, trampolines, wooden swingsets, spring, fall, giggling, flirting, romantic glances, being sappy, being unsappy, loving kids, mentoring Queisha, hugging, playing outside, the ocean.

I'd like to meet:

Confessions of an Emotional Rationalist

I am an emotional rationalist.  I know that sounds like an oxymoron- like a tall midget or a quiet Auburn fan (love ya Pat!), but it's really true.  I am an emotional rationalist- and it's d...

Harry Potter Movie Review- no spoilers, don't worry

It's late, so I'll do this quickly while I'm thinking about it then maybe polish it up later- I was disappointed by this latest Potter installment, and I am rarely very critical of movies.  Befor...

Narnia!

I'm getting very excited about the opening of Narnia.  I've learned my sword fight scene (and yes, I use a real sword!) and apparently I have some truly evil expressions.  I have, however, b...

I just read some reviews about the latest installment about Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End.  Nobody seems to be able to make up their minds whether they liked it or not, because I think...

Okay, the Oscar won't be going to me.  I'm gonna be in a play, and chances are nobody but the friends that I absolutely rope into coming to see the play will even bother to look up my name in the...
