Um, well, you know. People, and stuff. Yeah, I'd eventually like to meet that Someone Special who'll share my passions and my quirks to spend quiet Saturday afternoons with. And some not-so-special folks to be snarky and witty around the kitchen table on Friday night in or while watching some cool TV or going on a ROAD TRIP! to somewhere not very exciting. And maybe some other not-so-special folks to be all too-cool and intellectual with as I try to fake a profound knowledge of indie pop or comment about what a wonderfully bizarre film Schizopolis is even though I only saw it once late at night 6 years ago on IFC and am just hoping no one else has even seen it. Also, Jon Stewart. Oh, and fat women. Definitely fat women.
In little particular order: The Beatles, R.E.M., Ben Folds, The Shins, Sufjan Stevens, Belle and Sebastian, The Mountain Goats, Postal Service, The Solids, The Weepies, Ben Lee, They Might Be Giants, the Handel and Haydn Society, Antje Duvekot, Regina Spektor, the Moog Cookbook, Iron Horse, Death Cab for Cutie, Mike Viola and the Candy Butchers, Barenaked Ladies, The Hollies, and William Shatner. Marilyn Wann, John Krasinski, Jon Stewart, Nomy Lamm, Beth Ditto, Ben Folds... basically anyone able to do what they love and have others appreciate them for it.
