This is a group of Hungarian writers. Founded by author Julio Garco in 2008 for career-starter Hungarian authors to share their works, get feedback and help each other. One of the members; actress, novelist, screenwriter Rica Kalocsay is currently founding a book publisher agency.
“It’s awful that in Hungary no one cares about career-starter writers. There are lots of young, talented authors but they can’t publish their works. If you have money, you can publish anything in Hungary, no matter if you’re untalented. But if you are not a millionaire, it doesn’t matter how talented you are, you can’t publish. It’s not fair.†Kalocsay said. “Not to say, it happens sometimes that publishers steal the stories … it makes my blood boil!†she added. *****
