About Me

Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist:

Born and raised a Proud Texan...JP began writing songs at the young age of 6.
Fueled by the Experiences of his Life and a Vivid imagination.... His first song... "If I Ran Away"...found JP using an old stand-up piano as an outlet to express his most inward feelings... of Hurt, Love, Anguish, Joy....etc.
As a teen.. He received his first guitar... (Fender "Mustang") and a whole New World...was opened! He immediately began writing songs... Mainly Hard Rock & Metal... although he continued to have a softer, "acoustic" side that he kept hidden.
"While...I've always loved all the old metal and hard rock songs that I wrote... I always felt somewhat frustrated and boxed-in by a certain style. I felt I had so much more to offer.... That there was more to me than 5 power chords and a ton of anger."
With his Metal Band (Golgotha), in a hiatus... JP has finally allowed his "complete self" to become unleashed and has been recording his "heart".
"My love of music has always been unchanging... whatever the style.
My philosophy in life is simply this...
Whatever you do in life... PASSION is the Key to your Happiness.
