With a unique sound, unbeleivable drive and determination, and unmeasuable talent, UTN has deffinately come a long way. Starting from the basement of Palmer High School, To gracing the pages of magazines, U.T.N. (Unite The North) Records has become a standing influence in Alaska's small, but growing Hip-Hop community. By Producing their own beats, and owning their own studio's, their success has skyrocketed over the last year. Having guest appearences on The Hardy Boyz "Family Buisness" Album, And O.G. Entertainments "Bigg Body's Greatest $hits" featuring U.T.N.'s own Mr.C, there name is becoming more popular everyday. With Acting members Citisin-K, JJ The Chosen One, Big-D The Lyricist, K-Bazz The Kashman, Mr.C, and Reggie White, These six MC's have taken Alaskan Hip-Hop to a new level. All having different musical backgrounds and styles, they have proven to be just as powerful individually as they are together. Blending sounds from all angles of hip-hop and rap; from south, to east, mid-west, to westcoast there creativity and originality knows no limits. Pulling inspiration from elements of Jazz, R&B, Rock, Reggae, and even acoustic, The U.T.N. family is just that, a family of musicians and talented individuals all aiming for the same goals and ambitions. Teaming up with long time friends and graphic arts designers Dallas Hendrickson and Dominick Folletti, the groups profesionalism has never been better. The first album released from the label was a solo album by Big-D The Lyricist entitiled "This Is My Story As I Tell It" In fall of 2005. In 2007 JJ The Chosen One released his debut album "This Is Who I Really Am". Unfortunately, due to curtain complications, neither of these album's were released in stores, but were important milestones in the groups history. But now, looking towards the future, U.T.N.'s been working on there recent project entitled "The Answer To The Draught", a collaboration album featuring all the members of the U.T.N. family with some special guest appearences. Upon its release date (still not confirmed) U.T.N. has agreeded to hand the album out for free before releasing it into stores. Also, other titles are exspected to be comming out soon including Big-D The Lyricist's follow up double disc album entittled "The Man And The Poet" as well as JJ The Chosen One's new album and Mr.C's new album (both untittled).
