About Me

My name is Vince G. In 1989 I joined a New York/Long Island band, STONEHENGE. I was the Bass Player and Backing Vocalist. There was a lot of hype around the Tri-state area in regards to the band. Playing with The band and taking them to new horizons lasted from 1989-1994. STONEHENGE started out as a 4 piece unit and later added a second guitarist. Combining different genres of music and mixing: Hard Rock with Grunge, Blues and imporovisational jamming, the band was loved by critics as well as their following and is still talked about til this day. We played the Limelight in NYC before it closed. Unfortunately just as things were really starting to happen for the band, one member had serious health problems, which led to our breakup. so such is life. October of 1994 would mark the end of STONEHENGE. Enjoy the memory of some of the most timeless music ever written.
