About Me:
Well, that would fill a book... it's on its' way! Actually, I’ll just put about me in this moment and what got me here in a nutshell. I'm a musician, singer and keyboardist. I’ve played keys for 37 years but, lost nine years because of an accident… more about that in a moment. (I’ve only just been able to play proficiently again since April of last year.) Man, I’ve missed being able to play the way I used to! There is something special about doing something that requires skill that you’re good at... I mean, really good at! I’ve been singing since I can remember but, I had/have to relearn that, as well! I'm able to sing again! I compose music and write lyrics. I am currently writing a book about what I have gone through in the last ten years and and creating an album chronically documenting what I’ve learned and grown through, and hopefully will inspire people and give them hope that they can make their life a happy life, I want to teach people to have more compassion and love for each other more. If everyone is at peace within, it will manifest as peace throughout!
You ever heard, “If you had another chance to do it all over again, what would you change?†I feel I got that chance! In 1997 I had an accident that completely changed my life! I think it's the most amazing thing that I've had to go through, even though on the surface, it sounds like a tragedy. While out celebrating a record deal, that I was to go to Hollywood the next morning to sign, I fell off of a cliff, broke my neck, and drowned, which caused me a traumatic brain injury. So much for the record deal! Well, easy come, easy go. The Universe is very abundant, there will be more opportunities! Anyway, they told me in the hospital that I arrived DOA and went 26 minutes without oxygen. That’s what gave me a brain injury. Not from landing on my head, I think I probably cracked the concrete ciason with my head! Doh!
I went from being a popular musician, who was athletic and in shape, with a business, girlfriend, and living in a nice house in Montecito, to a disabled person (not capable of talking, thinking, or drinking from a glass and who could barely walk upright and in a straight line), living at the Carrillo Hotel (before they tore it down), and single. Everything in my life was made opposite of what it was before the accident!
I think that I’m still here because I haven't done what I'm here to do… I'm alive and not paralyzed… and I feel I am totally recovered from the brain injury, which did cause me to be totally paralyzed on the right side of my body! (that’s why I could no longer play the keyboards!) I feel extremely blessed for the gift of having the drive and determination to change the position I was in! I couldn’t walk or talk without looking like someone who is absolutely totally inebriated all the time. You know, I experienced what a disabled person has to go through, and it sucked! We need to learn to treat all beings as equals. If I hadn’t gone through that, all I could do was imagine, but nothing is better than first hand! And the way that most people treat disabled people, it makes the disabled people feel as though they’re not quite a person, and it’s hard to feel good about yourself when everyone looks at you as though you’re an abomination! You can’t imagine what that’s like 24/7!
I feel these days that there isn’t anything I can’t do. If I was able to move again after being paralyzed then there is nothing outside of my abilities! I’m no longer my biggest obstacle.. well, most of the time…

I can play proficiently again and will do my first public appearance 12/'06! I've been going to school for piano, vocal performing and Pro Tools, and I'm keeping straight A's! Woo Hoo! Back in the saddle again!
