Whistle at woman triggered fatal shooting, Dallas police sayA wolf whistle directed at a woman led to the fatal shooting of a Dallas man and the arrest of the woman's friend, police said.Donald Lynn Moore, 22, of Dallas has been charged with murder in the death of 26-year-old Ivory Roche, also of Dallas.On the night of April 16, Mr. Moore was with his friend at her Lake Highlands apartment in the 9700 block of Royal Lane, police said. When the woman stepped onto her balcony, she heard a whistle from a group of men in the parking lot of the Toscana Palms Apartments.Mr. Moore exchanged words with Mr. Roche and walked away, witnesses told police. He returned moments later with a handgun, police say.When Mr. Moore opened fire, police said, Mr. Roche tried to flee through the parking lot but tripped and fell. Mr. Moore then stood over him and shot him twice in the head, police said.Mr. Moore was arrested Tuesday morning and faces a charge of murder. He was being held Wednesday in the Dallas County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
