I am Jim Blackie, along with my wife and 2 children, reside in Gilford, (to some, "Stepford" ... at least that's how some town residents, not just the "wives" act like), New Hampshire; next to Gilmanton, depicted in "Peyton Place" ... definitely a diverse area to live in. Despite my warped sense of humor, I do feel blessed to live in the beautiful Lakes Region.

We are originally from Hamden, CT ... escaped the random shootings, car jackings, (making room for the Holy Ghost at red traffic lights), high taxes, high crime, etc ... from the New Haven area to live in God's Country. We are Traditional Catholics; MySpace Profile for our church, Immaculate Conception Traditional Catholic Church: www.myspace.com/ictcc. For those too young to understand what Traditional Catholicism represents and what a Tridentine Latin Rite Mass is, I refer us to practicing the Mel Gibson form of Catholicism. God bless Mel Gibson for the guts he has had to buck Hollywood by creating The Passion of the Christ. There IS a reason for everything, and we have been blessed to live not only in a beautiful area, but in a beautiful town with a ski/rec. area within walking distance, a state beach, town beach and a community/neighborhood beach, and last, but not least, a church/faith to bring us back to our Catholic "roots" ... the true teachings ... not watered down dogma... of the Mother Church; pre-Vatican II.
