The Rogue Transmission

About Me

The Rogue Transmission is rooted in the classic sounds and heavy riffage of 70s arena-rock and power pop. Combining the raw energy and intensity of first-wave punk rock, while occasionally dabbling in the feel-good boogie of 50s Americana, The Rogue Transmission catalogs and references the entire history of rock-n-roll music every three-and–a-half minutes, creating a sound uniquely their own.Formed in the winter of 2007, The Rogue Transmission was founded after Danny and Fabien fatefully met outside a show at Shanghai’s Yuyintang Livehouse. Together, the American singer and French drummer went on to recruit Fabien’s former band mate John to hold down bass duties, deciding that his melodic, British style, un-affected by the 1990s, would be a perfect fit for their sound. After experimenting with several guitar players, the band discovered an Australian axe wizard named Adam at a seedy late-night jam session and immediately knew he was the missing piece of their sonic puzzle. Together, the four Rogues quickly made a name for themselves in Shanghai’s burgeoning rock scene, known for their catchy melodies, big hooks and wild live performances.Since releasing their debut EP ‘illicit intercepts’ in October 2008, The Rogue Transmission has toured extensively around China, broadcasting their infectious tunes.****************************************************** **********"These guys play that classic brand of music known as Kick-Ass-Rock-And-Roll.
