Stephanie Latanya Singer, Songwriter, Producer and Arranger all in one, what more could you ask for? Coming from the windy city, Stephanie has been singing and writing since the tender age of ten and has generated an enormous fan base in Chicago. In many cases, lyrically Stephanie has been referred to as the female version of R. Kelly. Vocally, she has been compared to artists such as Missy Elliot, Lil Mo, Monica, Brandy, CoKo of SWV, and Kameelah of 702. Yet instill, being compared to such honorable artists and writers, Stephanies style is unique and is a style of her own. Stephanie possesses a talent as compelling as her character. She produces songs that relate to men and women, older and younger crowds. Her songs break through to many souls with her soothing soulful tone. Producing songs like Street Life, No I Wont Go, No Prisoners, When were Making Love, and Like Lovers Do, you will experience the versatility in her writing capabilities. Stephanie is far from an amateur and has an entourage of songs ready for the world to hear. Stephanie has been showcasing her voice and her original material since the age of 16. She has performed at The 705 Auditorium, The Apollo Theater in New York, Chicago State University, Club Epitome, Columbia College, DuSable Museum, Isaac Hayes, and Olive Harvey College. Stephanie also had the opportunity to open up for Ice Cube and the Westside Connection at the Georges Music Room back to school jam. Throughout Chicago competing with other Chicago artists, Stephanie has had the opportunity to work with other well-known Chicago artists and producers. She was also able to have her song featured on a compilation album (Chicago Music Opportunity Project). Being apart of the Chicago Music Opportunity Project, Stephanie was able to showcase her skills in front of major league people. Her performance landed her a segment on the Fox 32 news. You may think it was by chance but it is definitely her destiny. Being inspired by legends like Stevie Wonder, Luther Vandross, Diane Warren, R. Kelly, and Missy Elliot, Stephanie is determined to not only make it, but to make it to the top. Singing and writing are two of her passions in which she loves equally. With dreams and aspirations of being apart of the music industry, Stephanie is ready and willing to make Hits! Stephanies consistency makes her a necessity, which would make her an asset to anyones record label or publishing company.
