Although I'm not very interesting, i am interested in music, music, music, photography, art (especially Winston Smith's montage art) and hearing about your day- how was it?
I'm a little nerdy about guitars and the like, also horror films. Oh, and apparently my Goth name is Dead On Arrival, which is obviously cool. (http://www.necroticobsession.com/gothname.html)

I would very much like to have a casual chat with Tim Kasher, because he writes the best albums. I would also like to have a beer with Dan, Matt & Derek of Trio fame. I think it would nice to write and record a song with Erin McKeown and I would also like to meet Chris Cheney again, only this time have something witty and meaningful to say to him. Those last two both play Double Anniversary's, as do I (yay!). I really do need to make friends with Brian Setzer. Oh, and it would be so cool to go for a steak in Texas with Jim "Reverend Horton" Heath. On a less musical tack, I think I'd like to meet Billy Connolly and Ray Mears (or Bear Grylls)
Sadly, I am too late for Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Bill Hicks and Vincent Price.
I am currently loving the following silver discs:
Grown At Home- "assemble"
Elvis Presley- "elvis presley"
Biffy Clyro- "puzzle"
Circa Survive- "on letting go"
AVAST!- "faultlines"
Saves The Day- "stay what you are"
Just to throw some names out there (kindly take those mentioned above as read)... Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan, Hot Club of Cowtown, Beach Boys, ...Trail Of Dead, Dresden Dolls, Minus The Bear, The Living End, Alkaline Trio, Blood Brothers, Get Up Kids, Jonah Matranga (everything!!!), Misfits, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, The Clash, Stray Cats, Erin McKeown, Ben Folds (Five), PUSA.
I do like Horror! Night Of The Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead et al; Ginger Snaps; Ring trilogy; Ju On; The Pit And The Pendulum (though any horror film with Vincent Price will do); Red Dragon/Silence of The Lambs/Hannibal; Shaun Of The Dead; Anything else? yes, how about... Ghostbusters; Strange Brew; Jurassic Park; Sideways; Garden State; Belleville Rendez-vous; High Fidelity; V For Vendetta; Sin City; The Cooler; Bubba Ho-Tep; LOTR trilogy; O Brother Whereart Thou?; The Royal Tenenbaums; Woody Allen films - especially Annie Hall (of course) and Sleeper, Take The Money And Run is also ace; Jean-Luc Godard films; Star Wars trilogy (episodes 4-6, you understand); Jean-Pierre Jeunet affiliated films; Happiness Of The Katakuris (ace ace ace!!!)
Scrubs, Peep Show, Spaced, League Of Gentlemen, Family Guy, Simpsons, Futurama, My Name Is Earl, Black Books, Father Ted, Garth Marenghi's Darkplace. (obvious enough?)
The Giraffe, The Pelly And Me- Roald Dahl; Without Feathers- Woody Allen; Things Snowball- Rich Hall; Are You Dave Gorman? and Googlewhack Adventure- Dave Gorman; The Melancholy Death Of Oyster Boy- Tim Burton; High Fidelity- Nick Hornby; Who On Earth Is Tom Baker- Tom Baker; Selected Stories by Edgar Allen Poe (not the detective ones though, oh no); Harry Potter and the... by JK Rowling (no, i am not a 10 year old, but i do enjoy these books. Why? 'cuz they're well written, full of carefully constructed characters intricate storylines, they are getting darker all the time- a good thing- and they keep me well entertained)
You've been on my shoulder all the while whispering sweet nothings.
