The Moulettes- single released 11th May

About Me

...The moulettes are a folk-stomping barn-storming swingin' quintet, and are available for bookings in... barns, fields, tents and taverns, churches, castles, caves and caverns, dens of iniquity, jukebox dives, havens of pleasure, splendour and vice... Featured in their orchestra of absurdity are a cello, a bassoon, guitars, violin, viola, autoharp, kazoo, trombone, drums and 5-part harmonies. Their songs are narrative driven alliterative epics of depravity, decadence and delirious devastation, and they deliver a rollicking, resounding live set when called upon. They are part of the southampton based co-operative label, Sotones. A favourable review from pop junkie...

The Moulettes are a strange and rare creature indeed. The curious creature that lives between a Nancy Sinatra swagger, tender Sandy Denny folk stylings and some kind of thesaurus pop from the belly of...
