Hurricane Mike

DIATRIBE: I have yet to really say much with my site since I joined MySpace. Now, times have changed, my life has certainly changed and none of my questions have truly been answered. My daughter is now 7 years old and she is still alive! My little Kai Bella is as healthy as a horse, a genius like Einstein meeting with Newton at a Mensa summer camp, fast like a cheetah, as gorgeous as Brangelina, Bennifer and those damn Olsen Twins wrapped into one, and funnier than Eddie Murphy was back in '87. I've learned that people still take advantage of you whether it is in your living room or the board room. That I love my truck, but I get like 15 miles a gallon so that's not much fun. That nothing beats driving around my neighborhood here in Denver going nowhere and just grooving to some great music. I try to take pictures of everything as though when I become famous for something someday, I will have the most complete pictorial history of one's life than anyone could imagine. Life does begin in your 30's. Is it the new 20's? Sure, but you can't really gauge the 30's by the way in which I have lived my 30's. I learned a long time ago that people die young, so I chose to enjoy life to the fullest for the last 34 years. But the time has come to put away such childish things, right? Naw, my kid needs to see life for the colors, the sounds, and the smells of what it is. If I let her down in that category, then what have I learned?
I've got a great family, great friends and a little girl that needs and has fun with her Daddy. So, as of this past New Years I have started the next half of my life. I can't wait to see what Kai becomes. She doesn't need people walking in and out of her life all of the time and I have done a great job of keeping that from happening. I just want to live!... for her.
Mikey Likey: People who are passionate about something, people who smile, take care of themselves, sing (even if they are bad and know that they are), sushi & saki, lounges, people who wave thank you when they cut you off, pig tails, juice, meat, big salads, strawberry ice cream, Italian clothes, Jack, surfing, snowboarding, mountain biking, fishing, traveling, cooking, and playing with my daughter. I like funny movies and I just don't get horror (although that little kid who saw dead people freaked me out, but Hostel made me laugh). My taste in music is quite eclectic. I tend to hold open doors, say thank you, and was voted by my peers in college "The Most Likely To Pay You Back."

Mikey Dislikey: People who are lazy, gassy, have no hobbies, who need to be spoken to before they speak up (you know what I mean), or people who simply have no manners, people who drive slow in the left lane, racism (although when followed by a good punch line can be quite funny), laziness (except on Sunday's), Birkenstock's, freestyle rappers at parties (please don't), Trustafarians, hypocrites, people who do not stick up for themselves, rudeness, mustaches (or anything else resembling a cop), guys who can't throw. Oh and I'm allergic to chicken (my so-called "Chicken Affliction") and macadamia nuts.
