BRANDO S.T.A.R. AKA BLEEK AKA BBOY grew up in the rough southside streets of Chicago with a single mom, handi-cap sister, and a older brother who was a dj and musician. Wanting to be like his brother with the influence of grafitti and breakdancing Brando started putting the pen to the pad doing various show during highschool and making a name for his self . In 94 his mother became ill with cancer and he moved down state with his brother to finish highschool, having to support him self Brando began hustling , through the hustle life he made numerous connections including the opportunity to present his music to Teddy Riley, Eric Sermon, Redman, Keith Murray not knowing the business at that time he was in a artist contract with This Clique Entertainment whos greed blew a great deal with Badboy after opening for Craigmack . Brando decided that it was time to leave he moved back to Chicago in 95 where he began rapping on famous Chicago "L" for money he found much success there which truly put in the position he is in today he has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in the industry ; Spearhead, Crucial Conflict , Common, Dave Mathews Band, Herbie Hancock, 3pc, Hassan Phenomonon just to name o few, he has used his lyrical ability to travel across the country with Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey circus where he created a hiphop street team geared toward the innercity children . He has recorded with Kanye West when Kanye was workin from home(THE WINDY CITY GETS COLD) which exhibits his versatility . Brando has traveled overseas to Italy, Switzerland, and London where he been asked to stay based on his multicultural style his influences include but not limited to; Portishead, Native toungues, Nas, Common, Big L, 2pac, Biggie, Snoop,and Outkast.....
