About Me

I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4In the stack of dj’s in Melbourne Baz Emera clearly stands out from the rest. At the age of 22 his accomplishments resemble those of a veteran. Beginning his career at the age of 15 playing alongside fellow jock Pete Sofo, Baz played at many of Melbourne’s under age parties learning the tricks of the trade. Since then he has developed into a talented dj pushing a sound which has not always proven to give him fame and glory. As you may recognize from his sets Baz is inspired by artists such as Andy Caldwell, Kaskade and Ben Watt, to name a few. His soulful yet uplifting sound is what makes him unique and this has proven to reward him. Baz has supported both Melbourne’s finest and toured nationally with Jason Herd (Subliminal Records) and ME events. Recently Baz has returned from his third tour of China where he has become a crowd favourite spreading his energy and vibe through some of the landmark clubs in Shanghai. As a resident at Mint, run by Melbourne man Hess (Bamboo Records), Baz has joined the list of artists to have made their mark on the club. These artists include Martin Solveig, Copyright, Jay-J, Rasmus Faber and local man Mark John, who has joined Baz in becoming somewhat of an icon in Shanghai. Locally, Baz holds residencies at Alumbra (Fri), All beautiful @ Metro(sat), ocean blue and The Motel (Sun)and hold guests spots at gpo, boutique, fix bar and many moe.His latest project has seen him team up with local man Ben Joints to for the group Le Sillon. they are currently working on their own solo album and wil be signing with safari music. wwww.myspace.com/lesillonMUSIC MEANS SOMETHING DIFFERENT TO EVERYONE
