Runs November 7th through December 14th, 2008(Los Angeles, CA) (September, 2008)... Producers Joe Everett Michaels & Tom Whitman, who brought you LA Weekly Theater Award-winning Mommie Queerest, are pleased to present THE FACTS OF LIFE: THE LOST EPISODE, coming to Macha Theater beginning November 7, 2008.About The ShowHe’s tackled Joan and Christina Crawford, Hannibal Lechter and Clarice Starling. Now he has his sights set on the girls at the Eastland School. From the writer who brought you Mommie Queerest and The Silence of the Clams comes the raunchiest show in his repertoire. And it’s definitely Rated R.THE FACTS OF LIFE: THE LOST EPISODE by Jamie Morris lands at the Macha Theater on November 6 for a six week run in West Hollywood, the perfect location for a show where all of the female roles are played by men.Dildos, prostitution, cerebral palsy, and lesbian sex are just a few of the politically-incorrect plotlines that mark this as an adults-only show! The Dallas Voice put it perfectly:"THE LOST EPISODE is entirely the product of Morris’ twisted mind, adding tons of inappropriate humor you would be challenged to find on premium cable nowadays, not to say on NBC of yesteryear."The premise of the show is simple. Budget cuts threaten to force Mrs. Garrett to leave Eastland and Blair, Tootie, Natalie and Jo will do anything to raise the money so she can stay. Anything. (Ok, they become hookers. And they sing and dance about it!)Add an evil Headmaster who has a thing for Mrs. G, lesbian overtones between Jo and Blair, and a guest cameo by cousin Geri and you have the lost episode Showtime wished they’d snatched up.As the sitcom’s popular theme song proclaimed, “You take the good, you take the bad.â€These girls take it all.More About the ProductionTHE FACTS OF LIFE: THE LOST EPISODE does not incorporate actual episodes. This is a new comedy inspired by the beloved sitcom. The show reunites Jamie Morris and Brooks Braselman, both LA Weekly Theater Award nominees for their roles in Mommie Queerest as well Christopher Kenney, the LA Weekly Theater Award-winner for Best Comedy Direction.Kenney is again at the helm. (That is, when he’s not onstage in Las Vegas as EDIE, “The Mistress of Sensuality†in Cirque du Soleil’s Zumanity.)Braselman, who played Christina Crawford in Mommie Queerest, will play Natalie. Morris, who played Joan Crawford and was also nominated for writing Mommie, will play Mrs. Garrett.Praise from the PressFacts premiered in 2004 Provincetown, MA, where Provincetown Magazine said“John Waters would be proud of Morris who has managed to turn a sweet, little sitcom into porn.†The Provincetown Banner added: “If the sitcom had been this funny, it might still be on the air.â€After two successful, sold-out runs in New York, the critics agreed.HX Magazine called the show a “raunchy, side-splitting musical spoof. So wrong in so many ways!â€StageBuzz: “Be prepared for a wild, raunchy, crazy time. It’s damn funny!â€Time Out New York: “Deliciously nasty!â€Facts just enjoyed a run in Dallas, where the show was extended three times. The reviewer from the Dallas Observer noted of her experience: “I wheezed so hard laughing, that the guys next to me asked if I was having an asthma attack.â€THE FACTS OF LIFE: THE LOST EPISODE runs November 7th through December 14th, 2008.
