My Interests

What's the deal here? I mean, seriously, "General Interests"? C'mon guys, get with the program! Anyone who's anyone would know by now that most of the general public that's even going to bother looking at this page has A.D.D. and would, in all likelyhood, scroll right past this section quicker than Aunt Jemima's son at a syrup eating contest! But, really, if you're *that* interested in my interests, please, by all means, take a gander:
Art, music, intelligence, interior design, japanese, kisses, laughter, life, lightning, love, MAC makeup, makeup artistry, meditation, modeling, mohawks, collecting rare mp3s, visiting museums, cooking for people I love, medicine, mythology, nursing, opera, painting, passion, digital photography, physics, poetry, psychology, reading, rocky horror picture show, sci-fi, sea-creatures, sewing, masamune shirow, sleep, early punk, eddie izzard, egyptian mythology, fashion design, feminism, bettie page, blade runner, blond spiky hair, blue eyes, black metal, boots, buddhism, chaos, cheesy 80's movies, clothes, clubbing, comics, cute but creepy things, compassion, computer games, concerts, corsets, 80's, dancing, watching movies with friends, cuddling, drawing, films, fire, freedom, friends, geeks, hair extentions, horror movies, spirituality, surrealism, sushi, tattoos, technology, thai food, thinking, tim burton, toyz, travel, video games, vinyl, vodka, zombies

I'd like to meet:

Laid back, down-to-earth, real people. No fake, suck-up assholes here, thanks.

Music:

I enjoy most industrial, metal, death/black metal, goth, 80's, electronica, drum and bass, punk, electro, noise, powernoise, classical, and anything that sounds good, DUH! MSI, Blood for Blood, Dimmu Borgir, Terrorfact, Converter, Combichrist, Anal Cunt, Satyricon, Echo and the Bunnymen, Erasure, L7, Snake River Conspiracy, Tom Waits, Amy Winehouse, The Gossip, Ministry, Goldfrappp, DK... And the list goes on! There's really too much that I like too possibly add here. Besides, I am such a dork that I spend most of my free time searching for new and improved music. At this point, I could say I easily have over 200G of music. Go me! The only music that I can honestly say I loathe is R&B. Don't get that shit anywhere near me or I'll break out in hives, I swear.

Movies:

I ADORE zombie movies. The thought of a dead body coming to life and eating brains for survival is just a cunning idea. I mean, C'MON! Brains? Seriously. The movies I tend to watch over and over again are: Alien, Aliens, Tank Girl, Lord of the Rings, Matrix, City of Lost Children, Vidocq, Ichi the Killer, Evil Dead, Dead Alive, ROTLD, NOTLD, Bladerunner, blah-blah-biggity-blah. I occasionally am a sucker for chick-flicks, but rarely!

Television:

Iron Chef, Lost, Nip/Tuck, Arrested Development, Family Guy, Hell's Kitchen, The Riches, Heroes and anything on Food TV or Animal Planet. Anything else is blasphemy and you'll be given one thousand lashes for merely *thinking* of watching anything else!

Books:

I am a GEEK! Say it with me now, kids, "G-E-E-K"! I read a lot. Mostly non-fiction as of now (being in nursing school and all). When I do read fiction, it tends to be a juicy and creative story or a good sci-fi. The last fiction book I read was "The Blinding Light" by Paul Theroux.

Heroes:

Me myself and I. Can I say anything better? But, seriously now, folks, I'd like to thank all the assholes out there that have made me the insane, god-fearing Christian that I am today. Because without that, I'd be nothing... I'd be a compassionate, intelligent, creative, and independent woman if it weren't for all those pricks! Lord praise them all!Truly though, I find my parents to be of great influence to me. I love them with all my heart!
