This is the official myspace page for the epic British feature film "The Operative: Red Dawn" starring Ron Perlman, Craig Fairbrass and Terry Stone. The movie provides a brutal and gritty account of terrorists from the Middle East who embark on a mission from Allah to destroy the city of London with a radioactive isotope bomb.. not expecting any resistance from MI6 Agent John Beech and his beautiful ally, Adriana Lopez.

We are currently in the midst of making some exciting changes to the script for this feature film. This is being executed between Chris Taylor (script editor) and Phil Hawkins (director) and will provide greater depth, more subject exploration, as well as some fantastic new segments which will only be available to preview at the official celebrity screening of the film.
Work has also commenced on an official book called "John Beech". The book is a novelisation of the film with some additional materials that will provide a closer look at the backgrounds of each character that appears in the film, as well as some new scenes that are not included in the film. The novel is due to be released this summer and will be available for sale at Waterstones, Amazon.co.uk and Half.com

Valesaro Pictures have today announced that a short will be filmed in West Yorkshire and Manchester over the next 2 months to help market and introduce the feature film currently in pre-production.

An approach for creativity and passion has been launched recently by Valesaro Pictures after a contestant from ITV's The X Factor was voted off the show.
Bolton media student and semi-professional singer, Laura White, has now been approached with a contract offer to perform the official music video and opening song to "The Operative: Red Dawn". Richard Stephens of Valesaro Pictures described her voice as 'pure power, passion and unforgettable magic never heard before'.

Hollywood soundtrack composer Don Davis has agreed to review the materials for this film with a view to composing the entire film score. Don is a highly acclaimed and Oscar winning composer who has worked on Hollywood hits such as Behind Enemy Lines, The Matrix, Universal Soldier and House on Haunted Hill.

American screen legend Ron Perlman, star of Hollywood blockbusters "Hellboy", "Hellboy 2" and "Blade II" has signed to play the role of CIA Director Richard Ford in "The Operative: Red Dawn". The chart topping American actor has remarked how he loved the script and would be thrilled to be part of this film.

Richard Stephens has just signed up Hollywood actress Patricia Velasquez for the dual lead role as sultry double agent Adriana Lopez. Velasquez, 37, is best loved for her role as Anck Su-Namun in "The Mummy" and "The Mummy Returns" where she played opposite Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz. This represents a $500,000 deal with the Academy for Performing Arts in California.

After returning to discuss the project with Keith Bishop at MCS in London, Richard Stephens has successfully secured Christopher Ellison for the role of DCI Peter Forrest. Fans of the award-winning hit police series, "The Bill", will remember Chris for his first class performance as straight-talking and arrogant hard man, Frank Burnside. Richard is due to meet with Chris in London over the coming weeks to endorse the contract.

In recent correspondence, Valesaro Pictures are seeking to appoint Hollywood director Mark L. Lester to direct "The Operative". Mark owns American World Pictures and, if successful, the movie will be distributed throughout the United States and Canada by American World Pictures.
Mark L. Lester is a seasoned feature film director and is best known for his amazing work on the 1987 Military Action film "Commando" with Arnold Schwarzenegger, Vernon Wells and Dan Hedaya.
Giant Leap Productions, Wakefield, are to expedite and secure a worldwide distribution deal for the theatrical and DVD release of "The Operative". A.V. Pictures (London) are also in consideration of the project and are currently negotiating worldwide segment sales.

A deal was entered into between Richard Stephens (Executive Producer) and Addy Rutter (Director of the National Media Museum, Bradford) after a meeting concluded that Addy was to be considered as Associate Producer to "The Operative", harnessing his professional experience in tandem with the creative vision and passion of Richard Stephens.

Sammy Kistell has been signed up for "The Operative" as Key Make-Up Artist. With experience in independant films and television, Sammy was the perfect choice to lead the Make-Up Team during the filming.

Richard Stephens sent a copy of the screenplay and treatment to Terry Stone at Hanover Films in London and is both excited and pleased to announce that Terry has joined "The Operative" as a supporting role and also an Associate Producer.
Terry Stone has earned recent TV credits in "The Bill" and "Eastenders", and appeared in the epic British gangster film "Rise of The Footsoldier".

After several conversations between England and LA... former "Eastender" and star of CLIFFHANGER, THE BANK JOB and RISE OF THE FOOT SOLDIER - Craig Fairbrass - has accepted the lead role as former SAS Operative-turned-MI6 Agent John Beech.
Craig said in a recent phone call "I have no problems being attached to this project because I've read the script, I love the story and I think it's got great potential".
Valesaro Pictures are currently 'in talks' with Craig concerning the position and are due to commission his contract for three films later this season.
