About Me

I am a gritty, hard-working forward, and was drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in the 10th round (257th overall) of the 1994 NHL Entry Draft. I debuted with the Red Wings in 1996-97 and scored my first goal Nov. 11, 1996, against the San Jose Sharks. I totaled nine points in 47 games in my rookie season. I won three Stanley Cups with Detroit in 1997 and 1998. I tallied 19 points (seven goals, 12 assists) in 22 Stanley Cup Playoff games in 1998. In 2002, I won a third Cup with the Wings, this time contributing eight goals and three assists in 23 playoff games. I am a burly winger, 6-feet tall and, 200-pounds. I am one of Sweden's more aggressive players. I have topped the 10-goal and 20-assist mark in each of his last three seasons. I have won three Stanley cups with Detroit. I represented Sweden at the 1996 World Championships, my only international appearance. The lockout rule changes have really been beneficial to my game. With all the extra powerplay oppertunities, I have been doing extremely well because of my teamates amazing ability to find the open spot. MyGen Profile Generator
