My name is Daniel Serapin (aka "Big D", "D", "DanTheMan", & "Daniel-Son"...don't ask) and I'm 7-foot-2 and I play the guitar. It all started back in 2000 when I started plunking on some classic tunes like "One" from METALLICA's 1988 album "...And Justice For All". I finally got my first electric guitar just after my birthday in 2000. Since that humble beginning of few notes, I have memorized 100's of riffs and wrote 17 songs. I have 9 guitars, and some people asked me "Why So Many?" and I just tell them that a few are in different tunings and two I only use for certain songs because of their tone. (Like I use my Fender USA Strat for blues-y tones.) In Other News: I like to watch golf when Tiger Woods is playing. Say What You Will, but I'm also a Bulls fan. As for video games, I like to play the Need For Speed series on my computer. When I'm not working or doing the things I mentioned above I like to put on some music, plug my guitar in, and jam for an hour or two. When my friend Adrian isn't busy, he comes over and we jam, hang out, work on our songs, run to 7-Eleven for snacks, shoot the breeze, and watch the latest DVDs that we bought. I used to be a big fan of alcoholic beverages, but my tolerance was getting too high. So, after the last time I drank 08/29/08, I decided to give it up. It was getting costly. It was easier than I thought. Every time I get the urge to drink, I just think "um, I don't need it" and that works. I also have a project right now where I'm converting our old cassette tapes to CD, I did about 100 so far. I also like the MONSTER Energy drinks. (even the coffee ones) Well, thats about it for now.
