Based in Central Arkansas, Mark Simpson has recorded and performed through the years on several different musical platforms. A broad spectrum musician and critically acclaimed slide guitarist, Mark is recognized nationally and internationally for his work with the late Arkansas bluesman John Weston.
Along with the blues festival props, Mark also worked as a house guitarist at the late bluesman Junior Kimbrough's Juke Joint in Chulahoma, Mississippi until it burned in 1999. As of recent, Mark performs solo and on occasion with his Memphis-based friend, Richard Johnston.
