About Me

My Father, Robert (Bob) was born December 4, 1934. He lived with his "Nanny and Pappy" on their farm out Nice's Hollow in Jersey Shore, PA.
He attended school until the 10th grade, when he dropped out to help his Grandparents with the farm. He had enjoyed playing football when in High School. His jersey number was "8".
He was a hard working man, with a great work ethic, often working more than one job.
He was married three times.
He and his first wife Leona lost their first child, a son Bobby Clair. He and his second wife, my mother, Betty lost their first child, a son Mark, and later had me Robin and my younger sister Sue.
Family was very important to him. He tried his best to keep in touch with all his family members. When he was younger he and his brother spent a lot of time together and when he was older, he made trips to Richmond, Virginia to visit his mother and step father twice a year. He always had a lot of friends visiting and tried to visit his relatives at least once a month.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

He gave me away at my wedding and hosted the reception.

We enjoyed a great relationship, one I'm blessed to have been able to have. I am so thankful I had the opportunity to get to know him, who he was, what he liked, the friends he had.

He was diagnosed in July 1994 with terminal cancer. He had lung cancer, bone cancer, cancer throughout his body. He endured months of radiation and chemotherapy treatments, until he succumbed December 17, 1994.
