I'm going to change my about me soon, i think.
Okay, now onto business:
My name is Steven.
I am always right.
I have a really bad memory.
I just graduated college.
I want to be famous.
I'm usually modest, but I'm taking a different approach with this version of my About Me.
I am the first person to acknowledge and respect anyone who is better than me, but...
I'm probably better than you.
I will give you my honest opinion, if it hurts your feelings...i truly feel bad, but i devote myself to the truth.
I despise small talk, but I'm really good at it.
I am very hypocritical. (In everything you read here, I have at times been/done the opposite.)
I believe, at this stage in my life, that the most important mindset to have on things is ambivilence.
I have found that the journey is what's important, not the destination (ex: the film The Fifth Element)
As i told a close friend once: "I believe God wants me to struggle."
If you have any questions, please ask me them. I just said i hate small talk, so message me with some big talk. Conversations are my fuel in life.
I procrastinate terribly.
I love movies, and want to direct them.
My favorite winter olympic event is curling.

I have been playing the guitar since 1995 and am in love with music.
I also play the bass, the drums, some piano, and the beat box.

Making films, watching films, writing music, poetry.
Also, watching tv, listening to music, being with friends,...you know, all really weird stuff that no one else on the planet does.
I just got into golf and like it alot, i can skateboard, snowboard. I'm not really outstanding at anything in particular, but I am good/average at just about everything, save basketball.

Music:

I'm not averse to anything. You put on rap and I'll dance. You put on techno and I'll rave. You put on the village people and you better watch me do the YMCA. And I do it the right way too...doing the C backwards so that when you look at me the C looks correct. Hmm what else. I was in a hardcore band so I love hardcore and punk. I grew up listening to metallica. I used to like Nirvana, not anymore. Kelly Clarkson rocks. I basically listen to anything that is good - with no prejudice against mainstream or any bullshit. If it's good, i like it. If it rocks...well then i like it a little more.

Movies:

Children of Men, Cloverfield, Fifth Element, Lean on Me, Back to the Future Trilogy, Star Trek: First Contact, Thumbsucker, Troy, The Constant Gardener, Shaun of the Dead, The Arisocrats, Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, Love and Anarchy, The Color Purple, Gandhi, La Dolce Vita, Tales of Ordinary Madness, The Last Temptation of Christ, any Stanley Kubrick film.
I have yet to see The Godfather.

Books:

I love books. I love the english language, the nuanses, the emotion it conveys. Poetry is amazing. Sylvia Plath being one of my favorites. But unfortunatly, i was cursed with a mind that reads too slow. If i could read faster, or if i had time, I'd be reading alot more than i do now. Although, i should probably just pick up a damn book already and stop procrastinating. Some books i have read that i loved are: Catcher in the Rye, J.D. Salinger; One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Ken Kesey; Air Guitar, Dave Hickey
